Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct patient care for individuals with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, addiction, and other mental health conditions.
- Administer medications and monitor for therapeutic effects and potential side effects.
- Conduct psychiatric assessments, therapeutic interventions, and crisis management as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
- Active RN license in the state of Kansas (or compact license).
- Minimum 1 year of psychiatric or behavioral health nursing experience.
- Strong ability to assess, communicate, and intervene effectively in crisis situations.
- BLS certification required; additional psychiatric nursing certifications are a plus.
- Experience working in a secure or high-acuity mental health setting is preferred.
