Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Clinical Audiologist located in Tallahassee, FL. The Clinical Audiologist will be responsible for evaluating and managing patients with hearing and balance disorders. Daily tasks include conducting comprehensive diagnostic hearing assessments, implementing aural rehabilitation strategies, fitting and programming hearing aids, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care. The position also involves educating patients about treatment options and supporting their hearing health goals.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in diagnostic and treatment practices related to Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensing
- Experience in Speech and Aural Rehabilitation techniques
- Strong understanding of Speech Therapy methodologies
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with patients and other healthcare professionals
- Ability to handle complex cases with empathy and professionalism
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Audiology from an accredited program
- Current valid licensure to practice Audiology in Florida
- Relevant certifications such as CCC-A (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology) are preferred
