We are currently seeking a Commercial Lines Sales and Service professional to join our team in
Minnetonka, MN.
Position Overview
The Commercial Lines Agent is responsible for delivering high-quality, efficient service to our
clients. In this role, you will play an essential part in protecting our clients’ businesses by
offering expert guidance, proactive support, and tailored coverage recommendations. You will
work both independently and collaboratively with the team.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to commercial clients.
- Quote and sell commercial lines policies tailored to client needs.
- Remarketing accounts as necessary.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including quoting, issuing, reviewing for accuracy, and
delivering policies.
- Handle daily service activities such as endorsements, certificates, phone calls, and emails.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with carrier partners.
- Maintain accuracy and organization in the agency management system; set up new clients
in EZLynx.
- Respond promptly to client, carrier, and internal requests.
- Proactively review the client’s insurance for accuracy and identify gaps for additional or
alternate coverage.
Job-Specific Skills and Competencies
- Active Minnesota Property & Casualty Insurance License.
- Three years or more of Commercial lines sales and service experience.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computing skills.
- Experience with agency management systems.
- Professional demeanor; remains calm under pressure, treats others with respect, takes
responsibility for actions, and follows through on commitments.
