Special Requests:

• RTO must be listed at time of submission.
• Holidays: traveler must be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year
• All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
• References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
• Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.
• You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Weekend Coverage: Every Other
• Weekend requirement: 2 weekends out of 4 off; weekend = 2 consecutive days Fri-Sun.
• Traveler must be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year.
• On-call for low census.

Floating Requirements:

• Candidates will float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals.
• Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities near the contracted facility. Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal, BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, Carbon monoxide poisoning, Care of Ventilated Patient, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of ABGs, Pulmonary edema, Pulmonary embolism, Respiratory failure, Suctioning (ETT, NT), Ventilator Management, Chronic/Acute Renal failure, Continuous IV sedation, Emergency Medications, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, CVA/Acute Stroke management, Infection Prevention, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Phlebotomy, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, IV insulin protocols, Medical Intensive Care Unit.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Accessing/Managing Ports*, GI surgery*.
