Additional Details:

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years

• If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations. (Nursing positions only).

Required Skills/Experience: Experience Required: IR. Skills: Interventional Radiology, Vascular Studies/Procedures, Angioplasty, Carotid Stenting, Upper and Lower Extremity Angiography, Pressure Ulcer Assessment/Prevention, Sheath Removal/Monitoring, Radiation and Laser Safety, Richmond Agitation-Sedation Scale, Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias, Vascular Closure Systems (Perclose, StarClose).

Required Credentials: Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past. ID: Drivers License/State ID, Government-Issued Photo ID. Cert: ACLS, BLS - Must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation only.

Shift & Scheduling: Call Required: Yes. The IR Lab is covered by a call team Monday-Friday 1730-0700 and Saturday and Sunday 0700-0700. There is 1 RN on call during these hours. The amount of call is variable based on staffing.

Floating Requirements: Candidates may be asked to float within hospital or to a sister hospital nearby.
