• Chemotherapy Skills/Experience: Administration of chemotherapy, Body fluid handling post Chemotherapy, Continuous Infusion of chemotherapy, IV push administration of chemotherapy, Management/disposal cytotoxic spills, Monitor chemotherapy, Oral Administration of chemotherapy, Recognize/ communicate abnormal lab values.

• IV Therapy/Infusion Skills/Experience: Accessing Ports, Administration of coagulation factors, Antifungals, Antivirals, Blood/Blood product administration, Care and management of ports, Central line blood draw, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, PICC line care, Starting IVs.

• Biotherapy, Symptom management, Psychosocial Care.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Previous Charge Experience

• Teaching Hospital Experience

• Community Hospital Experience

• LTAC Experience

• Active Immunotherapy Specific/Non Specific, Administration of Interferons, Administration of Interleukins, Recognize/manage side effects, Alteration in skin and mucous membranes, Altered mental status, Constipation/diarrhea, Dysphagia, Edema, Nausea/vomiting, Neuropathy, Hospice care, Patient/Family education and support, Withholding/withdrawing treatment, Inpatient oncology, Leukemia/Blood Dyscrasias, Lymphoma/Non-Hodgkins lymphoma.

Required Credentials: BLS: RQI cards not accepted.

Unit/Facility Details:

• Parking Cost: Parking permit required, no cost. Will fill out form during orientation.

• Proof of Identification: Drivers License/State ID

• References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Special Requests: Discuss block schedule requests with manager.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Shift: 4x12 or 3x12 - able to accommodate 3x12s

• Weekend Requirement: Will work every other weekend.

• On-Call Requirement: None.

• Pre-Approved Time Off: 2 Requests

Floating Requirements: Floating is 100% required of all travelers - Candidates will float within hospital or to an affiliate hospital/s near by.
