Additional Details:
Required skills/experience: Titratable gtts: Cardene, Cardizem, Insulin, Heparin, Neo, Levophed.
Preferred skills/experience: Chest tube management, traches, Peritoneal Dialysis, ISTAT, CSF (lumbar) drains
Required credentials: Traveler will be required to PASS an EKG competency exam as part of compliance, prior to arrival
Shift & schedule requirements:
- Weekend rotation: every other
- Will work 4 days one week and 3 days the next week – this is mandatory
- Night shift will be required to work a 5/2 schedule as illustrated below: one group works EVERY Mon/Tues on the schedule creating a (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday week followed by working Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday the next) They work 5 on, 5 off, 2 on, 2 of;. The other group work the opposite working EVERY Wed/Thurs (Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday then followed by Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat) They work 5 off, 5 on, 2 off, 2 on
- Holiday Expectations: will work 2/3 holidays
Special request requirements: First time travelers must have 2 years of perm staff RN experience in acute care. Must extend 1 week for every full week requested off. May only request (1) weekend of RTO per 13-week contract
Unit and facility details: Stroke, MedSurg (1:5-6 ratios)
