Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.
• Travel experience is required.
• Experience with Cerner is required.
• BSN completion preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Maryland license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - MedStar Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - MedStar Health.

Additional Details:
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If clinician has questions, please email the AM.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: Cardiac monitoring, genitourinary/renal, and IV therapy/phlebotomy required.
Required Credentials: You must have compact license or MD license.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Charge Experience: Preferred Teaching hospital experience is preferred. Community hospital experience is preferred.
Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Unit cares for Med Surg patients including renal failure, sepsis, diabetes, HTN, wound care, and chronic ventilation/trach-vent cases.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend required (6-7). Every other holiday required.
Floating Requirements: Float required within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.
7 days maximum time off
2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
Proof of identification required
