Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years

Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.

If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations. (Nursing positions only).

CIC Infection Prevention Specialist

Required Skills/Experience: HARDSTOP- Must have acute care hospital experience in multiple service lines including surgery, NICU, Cardiac, Critical Care, ER.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching Hospital Experience. 5 years experience.

Required Credentials: CIC. Infection Preventionist must have CIC (CBIC certification in infection control);

Unit/Facility Details: All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility. Will accept RN, microbiologist or masters in public health.

Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submittal, post submission RTO will NOT be approved

MUST request all RTO / specific scheduling requests up-front during submittal. Post submittal/offer RTO may not be considered or granted. Inflexibility beyond contracted schedule and/or RTO may lead to termination of contract and system DNR.

Shift & Scheduling: M-F, no holidays or weekends.

Floating Requirements: Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby your contracted facility. Travelers' refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours
