Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Common types of imaging & Job Duties: All IR procedures- service neuro IR, vascular, and neuro surgeons. Will be scrubbing in and circulating.
Types Of Patients On Unit
Equipment Used on Unit: How many scanners/rooms does this department have?: 3 rooms- 2 biplane, 1 single plane Always keep 1 room open for strokes. Hybrid in OR- some run a CT/IR scanner.
Technology Used on Unit: GE Centricity RIS, and Philips Intellispace PACS.
Unit/Facility Details: Average # of scans/studies per day: Varies from 10-20 cases per day in addition to strokes. Stroke cases vary could be 1-4 per week. Have 2 IR techs per room.
Special Requests
Shift & Scheduling: 10 hour days with call 4- 10s rotate their day off. Shifts start at 7a- 5:30p or 7:30a to 6p. Weeknight/Call Requirements: 1-2 days per week. Weeknight call is 6p-7a. Call schedule will be put out and staff (including travelers) can choose their call days based on their schedule- picking 4 weeknight and 2 weekends. Allowed to switch call days with others if needed. 2 RNs and 2 IR techs on call team. Weekend/Call Requirements: 1 weekend call per month- have a group of 9 that take call. Call starts on Fri at 6p till Mon at 7am. Holiday/Call Requirement: If holiday lands on scheduled shift or scheduled call shift you work it. Do get holiday pay. Call or Standby requirement?: 30 minutes response time.
Floating Requirements: Hybrid OR - not a deal breaker if they do not have this experience.

- 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
- Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.
- Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

- This role may require floating to additional units and locations
- Local & travel allowed.
- COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
