Essential Responsibilities
- Blue print/Drawing interpretation as per the industrial/Aerospace standards.
- Having good knowledge in GD & T and AS9100 audit requirements.
- Coordinate and developing manufacturing concepts and strategies.
- Review and verify New Product documentation like Technical Query, Capability Assessment, Risk Assessment, Visual aids, Raw Material Assessment, PFD, Manufacturing Router, PFMEA, Control Plan and all technical requirement consumption & Gap analysis for manufacturing readiness.
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions.
- Review Technical data and PO requirements received from customer and prepare for contract review.
- Experience in understand requirements from customer like Airbus & Boeing specifications
- Special Process (such as Anodizing, Black oxide, Passivation, Zinc, cadmium & Nickel plating, protective treatments) study and flow down the implicit and explicit customer requirements to the suppliers through technical documents like Visual & Masking Aids.
- Interfaces with CFT functions to coordinate the release of new products & Improvement of existing products.
- Adheres to design & manufacturing standards and procedures governing documents and data control for the associated business group.
- Coordinating with Change review board and with cross functional teams for Review ECR for internal & external impact, effective implementation for NCR, ECR documentation.
- Assists to investigate and resolve manufacturing-related issues.
- Exercises critical thinking and innovative problem solving.
- Requires knowledge necessary to perform the job function such as manufacturability analysis, product structure, bill of materials, product safety requirements, material handling, and root cause analysis.
- Hands on experience of Solidworks, 2D to 3D Part modelling, Assembly using Solidworks.
- Experience in tooling and fixture design.
- Basic knowledge Turning, Milling and ID/OD Grinding.
- Will be added plus having experience in ERP/MRP- Job Boss/E2/Epicor.
Education Qualification:
- BS Mechanical with 5 plus years of experience.
- Experience in the aerospace industry is preferred.
