Your Role
As a Clinical Nurse at TrustCare, you’ll play a key role in delivering safe, compassionate, and efficient patient care in a fast-paced clinic environment. This role blends clinical expertise, patient education, and teamwork to support providers and ensure a positive experience for every patient.
The Clinical Nurse position is designed to encompass a broad range of nursing and clinical support functions, making it ideal for adaptable, patient-focused professionals who thrive in collaborative settings.
What You’ll Do
- Greet patients warmly and collect accurate health histories, vitals, and other relevant clinical information.
- Support providers during examinations, procedures, and treatments to ensure smooth clinical flow.
- Administer medications safely and accurately under provider orders, with thorough documentation.
- Perform in-house clinical and laboratory testing in compliance with OSHA, CLIA, and infection control standards.
- Collect, label, process, and document patient specimens with precision and care.
- Conduct occupational health services such as drug screens, DOT and non-DOT physicals, respirator fit testing, spirometry, audiograms, and other screenings (training provided as needed).
- Prepare, clean, and stock exam rooms; ensure medical instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and maintained.
- Assist with referrals, pre-certifications, and prior authorizations to support continuity of care.
- Accurately document all patient interactions in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Promote a culture of safety by following established protocols and helping reduce clinical risk.
- Collaborate with teammates across roles and step in to support clinic operations as needed.

- Work Environment: Fast-paced clinic setting requiring frequent standing, walking, and occasional lifting (10–20 lbs)

Qualifications to Shine

- Ability to assess, support, and carry out patient care plans within defined scope and provider direction.
- Professional, dependable, and respectful work ethic.
