G-Tube, Blindness, Epilepsy, Hoyer lift.
MONDAY - FRIDAY - DAY PROGRAMME
DUTIES
To provide nursing care in accordance with the pediatric client's plan of care.

RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Collaborate with registered nurses to administer prescribed medications
2. Care for ill, injured, or convalescing patients
3. Provides all services requiring specialized pediatric nursing skills.
4. Initiates and maintains appropriate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures.
5. Provide emotional and psychological support when needed
6. Communicate with patients’ family or friends to provide advice, comfort and release instructions
7. Coordinates services with other departments and other appropriate care givers.
8. Plans for the client's discharge from the program.
9. Participates in in-service programs.
Skills
- Proven experience as LPN or similar role
- Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with hospital health, safety and sanitation standards and procedures
- Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
- Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology
- Good knowledge of MS Office and data entry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and able to handle stress
- Successful completion of LPN license program is a must

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
