What you'll do...
Trust Consulting Services is looking to hire a part-time Porter to support DGS–Towson District Courthouse located in Towson, Maryland.
Day to day you’ll…
- Strip and wax floors on multiple levels
- Be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing offices, meeting rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, public areas, etc.
- Manage time effectively to complete tasks daily
- Tasks will include but not be limited to:
- Sweeping and mopping floors
- Vacuuming and cleaning carpets
- Restocking, cleaning, and sanitizing restrooms
- Cleaning windows and restrooms
- Removing trash
- Dusting
What you'll bring to the team…
Education
High School diploma or equivalent.
Work Experience
Must have 6 months of experience cleaning, stripping, and waxing floors.
Qualifications
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to hold a high level of personal integrity and remain focused on the job at hand.
- Employees need to be aware of cleaning standards but will also be trained.
- Ability to work well under minimal supervision.
- Able to follow instructions.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 30lbs, bend, kneel, and twist to perform the necessary cleaning duties as necessary.
Pay Range Information
The pay range for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply. This information is posted pursuant to local requirements to provide applicants with information about what they might be eligible to receive. Individual pay decisions will depend on job-related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location where work will be performed.
Pay Rate
$17.17/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday from 5pm-8pm
Benefits
Eligible employees working at least 30 hours per week may enroll themselves and/or their eligible dependents in medical and prescription drug coverage, as well as the TCS 401K plan with employer matching contributions.
