Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Residential Manager to lead and supervise our residential group home(s). In this role, you will coordinate resident services, supervise staff, work with our individuals, ensure compliance with DODD rules and regulations, and foster a warm, supportive environment for our individuals. Your leadership will be instrumental in enhancing the quality of life for individuals while maintaining efficient facility management. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the delivery of personalized care services, including assisting with activities of daily living, cleanliness of home(s).
- Oversee medication administration to ensure resident health and safety.
- Implement each Individual Service Plan for our individuals.
- Manage staff schedules,training, and performance evaluations to maintain high standards of caregiving excellence.
- Facilitate effective communication between residents, families, staff, and healthcare providers to promote transparency and trust.
- Maintain accurate documentation using Brittco and ensure confidentiality of resident information.
- Oversee the cleanliness, safety protocols, and maintenance to create a welcoming environment.
- Support individuals' social engagement through activity planning and community involvement initiatives.
- You will be expected to work in the home covering shifts and you will be on call 24/7 unless on approved vacation.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience in residential services with adults with developmental disabilities.
- High school diploma/GED required; Associates Degree preferred.
- Strong knowledge of DODD rules and regulations.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Familiarity with Hoyer lifts and/or other assistive devices for mobility assistance.
- Knowledge of Brittco for accurate record keeping and reporting purposes.
- Certifications in First Aid/CPR and Medication Administration 1 is required; prefer medication administration 1 & 3.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Must be able to pass a BCI/FBI.
