We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Dump Truck Driver to join our team in the Charleston, SC as well as Summerville, SC and surrounding areas. As a Dump Truck Driver, you will be responsible for operating dump trucks and other heavy equipment to transport materials to and from construction sites. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate dump trucks and other heavy equipment to transport materials
- Load and unload materials onto the truck using appropriate equipment
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating the truck
- Perform routine maintenance on the truck, such as checking oil levels and tire pressure
- Communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for each job
Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements
- Proven experience operating dump trucks and other heavy equipment
- Knowledge of horizontal drilling, paving, building, and digging processes
- Familiarity with heavy equipment brands such as Western Star
- Ability to safely operate loaders and bulldozers is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
