Role Description
This role is for a Controller (contract) based on-site in Austin (78704). The Controller will oversee financial operations, preparing accurate financial reports, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with legal and financial regulations. The role also involves supervising accounting procedures, analyzing financial data to guide decision-making, and collaborating with management to implement financial strategies. The Controller will lead efforts to maintain accurate records, evaluate financial performance, and improve budgetary management practices within the organization.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Financial Analysis, Budget Oversight, and Cost Management, Pricing analysis
- Strong skills in Financial Reporting, Accounts Payable/Receivable, and Payroll Management
- Experience with Inventory and Quickbooks (desktop preferred)
- Proficiency in Accounting Software and Spreadsheet Applications
- High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and collaboration capabilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Previous experience in a financial leadership or senior accounting role
