Consumer Loan Processor
TruService Community Federal Credit Union in Little Rock, AR is looking for an experienced consumer loan processor to join our growing team. We are the oldest credit union in Arkansas serving the Central Arkansas area. We are committed to providing quality service to our members and community.
Position Description
The Consumer loan processor will provide support to members through the loan process with applications requests including auto, boats, rv's, credit cards and other non-real-estate loans; sending documents to borrowers for review and discussing loan processes to ensure an understanding of the loan process flow and timing. Follow-up, maintain relationships and ensure origination integrity on behalf of TruService Community FCU.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Performs various support duties pertinent to meeting the needs of our members and development of new business.
- Communicate with borrowers/potential borrowers regarding loan requests, types of loans and qualification criteria.
- Originate consumer loan applications, analyze credit, collateral, income and other items necessary to the loan application process.
- Obtain necessary documents such as income verifications, collateral evaluation, insurance, etc.
- Prepare and deliver loan documents to borrowers.
- Follow up with borrowers, answer questions and schedule loan closings.
- Promote/Cross-sell other relevant products and loans.
- Review loan files to ensure the completeness of the file, and that all collateral has been properly secured.
- Remain current on all pertinent lending and other financial institution related laws and regulations.
- Maintains the highest level of confidentiality with all information obtained.
- Actively participate in training programs to maintain and acquire additional job knowledge and skills.
- Ensure exceptional customer service by maintaining thorough knowledge of lending programs, policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to the fulfillment of department and company objectives and goals.
- Meet expectations for attendance and punctuality.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Excellent customer service skills, attentiveness, and information retention. Detail oriented, high degree of accuracy.
- Familiar with lending/banking regulations and responsibilities relating to each including a working knowledge of Reg Z, BSA, UCC titles, Fair credit, liens and other aspects associated with the position.
- Good understanding in Mathematical skills. ·
- Above average communication & organizational skills.
- Competence with computers and software programs including Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & multi-tasking atmosphere.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
