What are the responsibilities and job description for the Journeyman Electrician position at TruServ Energy Solutions?
The Journeyman Electrician plays a critical role in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems primarily in residential and commercial projects. This position frequently interacts with customers and coaches apprentice electrician(s).
TruServ focuses on EV chargers, backup batteries, generators and solar for residential and light commercial. Training will be provided on the specific products that we install.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
- Commission systems
- Lead and coordinate a small team to complete projects effectively
- Interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical code specifications
- Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and safety regulations
- Travel frequently between various residential and commercial job sites
- Inspect electrical components for hazards, defects, and necessary repairs
- Test electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety
Required Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician License
