What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Manager position at TruPath Home Loans?
Overview
TruPath Home Loans is looking for a hands-on, experienced Marketing Director to own demand generation, brand, and marketing support for our team of experienced Loan Officers.
We are looking for a unicorn – someone who has real strategy and experience across multiple channels, not just someone that assembles a few pieces of software. Someone with a track record of results that goes beyond hiring a couple of agencies. You’ll be the first dedicated marketing leader, so you’ll set the strategy and do the work. We have plenty of ideas, but we also need someone who can take ownership and execute.
If you’re good, the sky is the limit.
What’s in it for you
- Real Authority: The marketing engine is your responsibility and strategy.
- Direct Impact: Your work shows up clearly in funded loan volume, referral partner growth, and brand presence.
- Title & Compensation based on experience: Competitive salary performance-based bonus; final package aligned to experienced and the results you can deliver. Long-term, this position will directly tie to revenue generation within applicable channels.
- Blank Canvas: Build the system from the ground up instead of fighting legacy bureaucracy or creative fatigue.
- “Bets” Mindset: We are constantly trying and testing new things. We’re open to anything that’s legal, has a plan of execution, and a specified time commitment before making results-based decisions.
What you’ll do
This role has so many possibilities, you won’t be able to effectively execute on everything – and we understand that. Our preference is focusing on the highest ROI, leveraging those results to move to the second highest ROI, and so forth. We’re prepared to invest and continually reinvest back into marketing based on results, and we anticipate this department growing with its performance.
1) Support Loan Officers & Referral Relationships:
- You’ll work directly with sales and the owner to determine need, this could include: create classes, develop coaching programs, help with CRM campaigns, marketing material, marketing strategies, and marketing events.
2) Own performance marketing & lead gen:
- Develop and continually optimize direct to consumer channels (Meta, Google, other paid channels) while monitoring conversion metrics and performance.
- SEO / AEO strategies for organic inbound
- Tracking and Reporting
3) Build the TruPath Brand
- Develop clear and consistent positioning, messaging, and visual standards across web, social, email, and video.
- Social (short form long form) strategies
- Written – email and blog
This is our first marketing management role, which means you’ll be working closely with the owner and sales to develop and execute your own marketing strategy. We also understand the value of relationships (especially in the real estate / mortgage world) and will be taken into consideration.
We anticipate this position will be able to cover its monthly expenditure within 6-12 months.
Who this role is perfect for
- You like being a player-coach: you’ll do the work yourself, not just hire and watch from a distance.
- You’ve managed campaigns with real budgets and real metrics: CPL, CAC, ROAS, attribution
- 4-8 years in digital marketing with proven hands-on experience across paid social, PPC, and SEO.
- Experience in mortgage, financial services, or other regulated industries with longer sales cycles and high CAC and LTV is a strong plus.
- You’re a builder. You like the idea of owning your own performance with a high degree of freedom. You want to own a function end-to-end in a growing, entrepreneurial shop instead of being a piece of a big machine.
- You love the idea of seeing the direct results of your efforts, and how those affect other employee’s growth and the overall mission.
Minimum Requirements
- 5 experience developing and executing on marketing plans
- Demonstrated experience driving leads through multiple channels
- Strong copywriting and messaging skills
- Comfortable being in front of people, on camera, directing others on camera
- Ability to concisely articulate marketing strategies, the inputs required, and the projected results
- Ability to work in-office in Draper, UT – relocation assistance available for the right person.
- Eligible to work in the U.S. and pass standard background checks.
