Role Description

This is a full-time in-person role for a Senior Tax Accountant at TruNorth Tax LLC in Plymouth, MN, with schedule flexibility. The Senior Tax Accountant will be responsible for tax planning, compliance, preparation, audits, and staying updated on tax laws and regulations.

Qualifications

• CPA or EA Certification
• 3 years of Tax Planning, Tax Compliance, and Tax Preparation experience
• Be the primary point of contact for clients, leading meetings, providing clear, actionable tax advice, and ensuring retention through solid client relationships.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Independently manage clients, handling their tax needs with minimal supervision and ensuring timely filing, follow-ups, and strategic advice.
• Identify opportunities for measurable tax savings and provide clients with tailored tax planning strategies that maximize their financial benefits.
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Maintain strong time management, problem-solving, and organizational skills while efficiently managing multiple client deadlines and paperwork.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

80,000-150,000 depending on qualifications.
