Evening Hotel Supervisor

Albemarle Estate at Trump Winery, one of the most architecturally significant residences in Virginia, is seeking its next Evening Hotel Supervisor. This role primarily serves as the on shift Senior Guest Services Specialist while overseeing other Guest Services Specialists, Housekeepers, and Servers. This position is critical to supporting the Hotel Director in driving guest satisfaction, operational excellence, and revenue performance.

Position Title: Evening Hotel Supervisor

Location: Albemarle Estate at Trump Winery in Charlottesville, VA - 15 minutes south of Charlottesville city limits & 20 minutes north of Scottsville

Wage: $24.00/hr - $28.00/hr Gratuities and Tips

Hours: Full-Time - on-site, regularly scheduled 40 hours/week. Primarily the 2:00PM to 10:00PM shift. Open availability is needed including weekends and holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee evening hotel operations and provide leadership to Guest Services Specialists, Housekeepers, and Servers.
• Conduct property rounds to ensure guest satisfaction, address needs, and resolve issues promptly.
• Perform detailed inspections of guest rooms and public areas; uphold cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Manage guest check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and package bookings with accuracy and professionalism.
• Communicate effectively with service and culinary teams regarding guest needs, events, and reservations.
• Lead pre-shift meetings to align staff and reinforce service expectations.
• Provide knowledgeable guidance on Estate amenities, wine production, cuisine, and local attractions.
• Support revenue initiatives by monitoring occupancy trends and identifying opportunities to enhance guest experiences.
• Assist with the development and execution of hotel events, special dinners, and curated guest experiences.
• Ensure compliance with safety, emergency, and security procedures.
• Perform additional duties as needed to uphold luxury service standards.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Hospitality Mgmt, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 3 years hospitality experience
• Prior supervisory experience preferred
• Detail oriented and organized
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing in a luxury setting
• Standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 pounds, bending and reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching
• Must be proficient in Word, Excel, Gmail and POS systems
