Description
This position primarily focuses on painting, drywall repairs and installation, and finishes repairs. However would also assist in other facility maintenance projects. It requires attention to detail and ability to adapt and learn new skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Touch-up paint throughout the property
- Repair and install drywall
- Remove, Clean, and repair door hardware when necessary
- Refinish wood stains
- Maintain clean work and material storage areas
- Keep log of work accomplished
Requirements
- Relevant experience is preferred, but not necessary. Will be trained to meet the highest standards upon hiring.
- Must be able to maintain safety standards at all times
- Ability to stay focused in a distraction environment
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English effectively
Physical Requirements and special working conditions
- Works in hot and cold environments for extended periods of time, including direct sunlight.
- Must be able to safely move, set, and use ladders for extended periods
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- In this position you will be required to reach, kneel, pull
- Long hours of standing
- Must have sufficient eye sight to see necessary details. If seeing glasses are needed, then they must have them at all times while working.
