Trump International Hotel and Tower New York, is seeking a Travel Industry Sales Manager with genuine Passion, Drive, and Enthusiasm to join our dynamic team!


The Travel Industry Sales Manager is responsible for generating revenue by prospecting, securing, and growing business from key travel industry partners in order to meet and exceed monthly and annual budgeted room nights and room revenue. 

  • Drive revenue and brand awareness through strategic phone, email, and in person sales efforts targeting travel industry partners, including hosting familiarization trips, site inspections, and client entertainment.
  • Increase market visibility within the travel trade through proactive sales outreach, digital engagement, participation in industry tradeshows, and strategic networking activities.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of the hotel’s product, brand positioning, and competitive set to effectively position and differentiate the property within the luxury travel market.
  • Identify, evaluate, and initiate opportunities to develop new travel industry partnerships and generate new sources of business.
  • Collaborate closely with the global office sales team to drive awareness and revenue from assigned travel markets.
  • Analyze monthly production results and adjust sales strategies to achieve established revenue goals.
  • Accurately maintain and grow the Salesforce client database to support effective account management and follow up.

This position reports directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing and works closely with the Director of Revenue to ensure sales strategies align with the hotel’s overall business objectives.


Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent hospitality experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of 2 years of luxury hotel sales experience, ideally with exposure to travel industry partners.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and hotel sales systems, including Salesforce, Hotelligence, Lanyon, and Opera.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $105,000 annual
