Trump International Hotel & Tower® Chicago is seeking an experienced and service-driven Assistant Director of Food & Beverage to help lead one of the city's premier luxury hospitality operations.

This highly visible leadership role supports all Food & Beverage outlets across the property, including Terrace 16, Rebar, Banquet Operations, In-Room Dining, Bars, and Culinary Operations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a passion for exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, team development, and driving financial performance within a luxury environment.

What You'll Do

Operational Leadership

• Oversee daily Food & Beverage operations across multiple outlets and service areas.
• Directly manage the day-to-day operation of Terrace 16.
• Support outlet leaders in delivering exceptional guest service and operational excellence.
• Act as the Director of Food & Beverage in their absence.

Guest Experience

• Ensure Forbes-level service standards are consistently delivered throughout the property.
• Serve as a visible leader during high-volume periods and special events.
• Address guest concerns promptly and professionally while creating memorable experiences.

Financial Performance

• Review forecasts, financial reports, and operational metrics to maximize profitability.
• Identify opportunities to improve revenue, efficiency, and overall performance.
• Assist with the execution of property capital improvement projects.

Team Leadership & Development

• Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop managers and key team members.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback.
• Partner with Human Resources to support talent development, succession planning, and associate engagement initiatives.
• Foster a positive, high-performance culture focused on teamwork and accountability.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with Trump Hotels service standards, operating procedures, and quality assurance programs.
• Conduct regular outlet and property inspections.
• Maintain all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service requirements.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of Food & Beverage leadership experience.
• At least 2 years in a Department Head or senior management role.
• Previous experience within a Four-Star/Four-Diamond or Five-Star luxury hotel environment preferred.
• Strong understanding of restaurant, bar, banquet, and in-room dining operations.
• Proven ability to lead teams, drive financial results, and enhance guest satisfaction.
