Licensed Crisis Clinician (LMSW, LCSW, LPC) - BH Crisis Center - PRN 101 Truman Medical Center Job Location UH Behavioral Health Kansas City, Missouri Department KCATC-Kansas City Assessment and Triage Center Position Type Part time Work Schedule 8:00AM - 4:30PM Hours Per Week 4 Job Description This position requires a Master's level Missouri Licensed mental health professional (Professional Counselor, Social Worker, Psychologist) who has experience and possesses the ability to work independently. Staff will provide crisis mental health intervention services to clients presenting at the Crisis Center. Staff will provide emergency mental health services, emergency mental health assessments with appropriate referrals. Minimum Requirements A Master's Degree from an accredited program in social work, psychology, counseling, or related human service field is required Licensed in the state of Missouri – must keep license current to remain in this job assignment 5-7 years’ experience working in a social services role Expert level knowledge of psychiatric terminology and the process of mental illness and community resources Demonstrated knowledge of the theory and practice of human services at the Master's level Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work with multicultural staff and clientele Completion of training as directed through orientation and/or by Leadership, Management or Educators in the established timeline for continued employment Working at University Health is about making a difference.
