This is an nifty opportunity to join the nice Trumbull & Porter Boutique Hotel team in the Corktown area of Downtown Detroit!
We just had our busiest year by far in 2025, we want to add another fun personality that not only would enjoy the vibe, but also maintain our toxic-free and chill environment in a busier 2026.
The Laundry Attendant owns the appearance and appeal of the linens. This is all while being a part of a solid and helpful team always looking out for each other. We expect you to help us keep our reputation as the cleanest and friendliest hotel in Detroit at all times. The job itself is in a room far from the front desk, so you can just put in some ear buds and have a stress free day.
What the pay is for:
- Maintain cleanliness and stock of all hotel linens in the laundry room
- Keep the area clean and easy for your team to move through to get the items they need
- Identify stained linens and separate them for deep cleaning or disposal
You are going to want to have this:
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, don't worry that isn't often
- Strong attention to detail and keen eye to make sure linens are clean
- Able to do the job without a lot of supervision
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
The team part is important. The job itself is simple enough and you can just put an earbud in and not be bothered, but we all lean on each other to make our day to day easier and more pleasant. We look to help each other and make sure as we all spend time here to make our living, it is never a place of stress, just kind people.

Pay: $14.00 per hour
