POSITION:
- Educational Assistant (2026-2027 School Year)
REPORTS TO:
- Building Principal
EMPLOYMENT STATUS:
- Regular/Full-time
FLSA:
- Non-Exempt
SALARY:
- Per Negotiated Agreement
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- To supervise students in small groups or one on one.
- Ensure safety of students.
- Interact in a positive manner with staff, students and parents.
- Maintain respect at all times for confidential information, e.g., student grades.
- Promote good public relations by personal appearance, attitude and conversation.
- Attend meetings and in-services as required.
- Identify student needs, and cooperate with other staff in assessing and helping students solve health, attitude, and learning problems.
- Provide guidance and counsel to the students which will promote their welfare and their proper educational development.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Building Principal or designee.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid ODE Aide Permit.
- Must be Highly Qualified or willing to obtain the qualification.
- Successful Drug Screening.
- BCI/FBI Background Checks.
