POSITION:
- Building Administrator
- 2026-2027 School Year
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's Degree or higher, preferred.
- Valid State of Ohio Administrative certificate/license (supervisor, administrative specialist, principal, superintendent, etc.) or eligibility for licensure.
- Experience in administrative responsibilities (preferred).
- Demonstrated experience in overseeing students and staff (preferred).
- Experience working with children with disabilities.
- Successful BCI & FBI background checks.
DUTIES:
- Assist in the daily operation and oversight of the building, ensuring that all procedures, policies, and practices related are effectively implemented and maintained.
- Serves as a primary resource person for all staff members, providing guidance, support, and clarification regarding building protocols, operations, and administrative procedures.
- Maintains regular communication with the program supervisors regarding all matters affecting staff, students, and parents; reports incidents, concerns, and progress updates in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist program supervisor in mediating and resolving staff and student conflicts when needed, promoting a positive and respectful learning environment.
- Prepare, review, and submit all necessary documentation and reports related to daily operations, incident reporting, and student conduct, as required.
- Maintains confidentiality of both student and personnel information and records, e.g. student files, student IEPs, medical records, personnel files, and documentation for legal proceedings.
- Develops and implements innovative ideas for educational programming.
- Promote and maintain strong, collaborative relationships among staff, supervisors, external partners, and district personnel to ensure consistent communication and alignment of goals.
