What are the responsibilities and job description for the Afternoon Custodian -- LaBrae Local Schools position at Trumbull County ESC?
POSITION:
- Afternoon Custodian at Bascom Elementary School
- 2:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.
REPORTS TO:
- Superintendent
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possess a high school diploma or GED.
- Any combination of training and work experience which indicates possession of the knowledge, skills and abilities listed below.
- Documentation of a clear criminal record.
- Successful pre-employment drug screening.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
- Knowledge and skill in the utilization of equipment, materials and supplies commonly used in maintenance and custodial services.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with associates, supervisor and the general public.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to follow directions and initiate routines.
- Ability to perform manual labor tasks.
- Be in good physical condition.
CONTRACT:
- 260 days, which includes 12 paid holidays.
- 8 hours per day.
SALARY:
- In accordance with the negotiated agreement with OAPSE Local 278.
