What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Social Media Content Creator position at Truly Indian (ADF Foods)?
Type: Part-Time Contract Role
Initial Engagement: 3-6 months
Location: Remote
Truly Indian is looking for a creative, social-savvy Content Creator to grow our social media presence. You know what makes content perform and how to turn that into posts that build an audience. Ideally, you’ve built your own page from scratch and have the results to show for it.
You also bring cultural fluency: a working knowledge of Indian food, an understanding of the mainstream US consumer, and the instinct to bring those two worlds together through content that feels fresh, authentic, and culturally relevant.
· Create engaging short-form video, primarily Reels
· Film, edit, and be comfortable on camera
· Develop content around our products, recipes, behind-the-scenes, and storytelling formats
· Spot emerging trends and turn them into on-brand Truly Indian content
· Help shape the monthly content calendar, working with the team around events and product launches, and bring your own ideas to lead content development
· Help define and build out the Truly Indian personality on social media (IG,TT)
· Track content performance and use it to keep improving reach, engagement, and growth
· A proven track record of building a social media following (please share your page or portfolio)
· Strong command of Instagram, Reels, and current social trends
· Strong understanding of US consumers and social media culture
· Familiarity with Indian food (you don’t need to be an expert, just curious and eager to learn)
· Comfort ideating, shooting, editing, and appearing on camera
· A creative, proactive, storytelling mindset
