Experienced Handyperson / Residential Maintenance Technician
Truly Handy LLC is seeking an experienced technician to join our growing team. We are looking for a dependable individual with broad residential construction and maintenance experience who can complete a variety of repair and improvement projects to a high standard of quality.
This position is best suited for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, communicates professionally with customers, and can work independently while representing our company in the field.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- General residential repairs and maintenance
- Interior and exterior carpentry
- Drywall repair and finishing
- Interior and exterior painting
- Door installation and repair
- Trim and finish carpentry
- Flooring installation and repair
- Deck and fence repairs
- Minor plumbing repairs and fixture replacement
- Minor electrical repairs and fixture installation
- Cabinet installation and adjustment
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing residential maintenance issues
Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
- A minimum of three years of residential construction, remodeling, or handyman experience
- Working knowledge of multiple residential trades
- Ability to safely operate common hand and power tools
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and in a diverse team setting
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Professional demeanor
Requirements
- Pass a criminal background check
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical work throughout the day
- Ability to work on ladders and in varying weather conditions
- Must be dependable, punctual, and committed to producing quality workmanship
