Fleet Safety Director
Located in Las Vegas Nevada, well established medium size fleet with 400 trucks currently with a proven and committed plan for growth. Multiple locations in multiple states. A strong commitment for safety from upper management. This position will be responsible for:
The development and oversight of corporate as well as specific site Safety Programs with ongoing evaluations and adjustments.
Responsible to ensure fleet compliance with regards to all DOT Regulations
Monitor CSA scoring to set and adjust policies as needed
Investigate accidents; help determine preventability: gathering and maintaining pertinent documents and accident records for analysis and trending.
Conduct Corporate Safety meetings
Assisting with claims; 3rd party liability, physical damage & cargo
Provide coaching & training to drivers and site management personnel related to onboard event recordings
Establishing and managing benchmark reporting of safety improvements or opportunities.

Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of all DOT regulations and compliance
- Experience in investigating accidents
- Experience in developing and delivering training programs
- Extensive computer knowledge
- Familiarity with workers' compensation processes and procedures
- Ability to conduct report writing and root cause analysis
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
