Manager – Tax

Our client is an organization in the Fond du Lac County area that’s looking for a Tax Manager. Our client is looking for someone with 3 years of experience, who has excellent leadership skills, and a strong business acumen. This company offers flexibility, a strong, tenured team, and a great work/life balance. This position is hybrid.

The salary for this position is up to $100K – $120K.

The Tax Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with senior client management while identifying client needs, cross-selling opportunities, and additional value-added services.
• Lead and manage multiple engagements by developing work plans, allocating resources, monitoring progress, and ensuring assignment objectives are achieved.
• Plan, organize, and oversee project execution while anticipating risks, resolving issues, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality client service.
• Collaborate with assignment leaders and partners to develop and implement client solutions, practice initiatives, and strategic objectives.
• Manage engagement budgets, profitability, billing, and collections while identifying opportunities to improve financial performance.
• Build, mentor, and empower high-performing teams through coaching, recognition, performance support, and knowledge sharing.

The Tax Manager will possess the following:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of experience.
• Strong business acumen.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and technical skills required.
• Demonstrated ability to coach and develop less experienced team members.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
