Our client is an organization in the greater Milwaukee area looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist. Our client is looking for someone with related experience, high attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving skills.
The starting salary for this position is $25/hr
The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review, verify, and process vendor invoices
- Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
- Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting
- Communicate with vendors regarding billing issues
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
- Support audits by providing required documentation
The Accounts Payable Specialist will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Associate’s degree in accounting, business or closely related field preferred
- 1 years of relevant experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
