Key Responsibilities
Image Creation:
- Develop and maintain master images of operating systems, applications, and configurations for enterprise deployment.
- Ensure images comply with organizational standards and security policies.
- Image Deployment:
- Deploy pre-configured images to new or existing computers using manual and automated tools (e.g., SCCM, MDT).
- Validate successful deployment and perform post-installation checks.
- Physically set up new computers and peripherals.
- Install and configure required software and drivers to ensure full functionality.
- Troubleshooting:
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and imaging processes.
- Provide technical support for deployment failures and system errors.
- Maintenance:
- Update and manage images to include new patches, drivers, and applications.
- Monitor deployment processes and maintain documentation of imaging standards and procedures.
- Education: Associate degree in Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience:
- 2 years in desktop imaging, deployment, or IT support roles.
- Hands-on experience with imaging tools (e.g., Microsoft Deployment Toolkit, SCCM, Ghost).
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and hardware components.
- Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell preferred) for automation.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized processes.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and end-users.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer service mindset with a focus on delivering quality support.
