The Senior Change Delivery Project Analyst supports end-to-end delivery of moderately complex large projects or program of projects through business analysis, project management, and governance frameworks alignment and may occasionally manage an individual workstream. This role will partner with project teams to address complex issues, drive process improvements, apply innovative thinking, prepare required artifacts, and escalate risks in accordance with established protocols. This teammate possesses advanced knowledge of enterprise change requirement processes and those of their assigned portfolio.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead project planning activities for moderately complex large project or program of projects including gathering, analyzing, and presenting data and recommendations needed for project decision makers.
  • Collaborate cross functionally to establish project scope, dependencies, risks, timelines, and key obstacles impacting initiative success.
  • Identifies and supports required changes to scope or timeline throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Drive project execution by structuring milestones, aligning teams, and managing schedules to achieve defined objectives. 
  • Manage end-to-end project and program documentation and execution, including business cases, scope and impact, project plans, schedules, risks, business readiness materials, and post-project follow up.
  • Ensure project documentation has appropriate level of traceability, tracking all impacts to completion and knowledge delivery to impacted audiences.
  • Leverage expertise in Truist change processes and standard project/program delivery to provide thought leadership in planning and ongoing management, ensuring adherence to governance standards while accounting for the unique needs of each initiative.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders, collaborating across cross functional teams to ensure effective coordination and accurate collection of project status and information.
  • Provide tracking and reporting of project status to leadership and enterprise teams, including measurement of key performance and risk indicators and success factors.
  • Own the intake of new project requests and coordination of projects within workstreams. 
  • Serve as an individual contributor with ownership of a project portfolio.  
  • May serve as a resource for junior level resources promoting a cohesive, inclusive, team-oriented culture aligned with the Truist purpose, mission, and values.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, or equivalent education and related training.
  • 5 years of experience in consulting, project management or process improvement related role.
  • Advanced level of understanding of project management/analysis frameworks and demonstrated ability to implement large scale initiatives.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to facilitate difficult conversations with leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems, devise solutions and make decisions under pressure.
  • Ability and willingness to learn and adapt as the needs of the job change.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
  • Knowledge in software development/technology delivery lifecycle in an enterprise environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Banking or financial services experience.
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM).
  • Sound working knowledge of holistic banking/investment platforms, products, services, operations, finance and systems.
  • Experience with Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies.
