Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Fort Madison-Burlington Iowa. The Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) will provide comprehensive healthcare services to patients in skilled nursing facilities. Responsibilities include performing assessments, developing and managing treatment plans, delivering preventative care, and supporting the overall health and wellness of patients. The role involves strong collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, communication with patients and their families, and adherence to regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Advanced clinical skills in patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and medication management
- Experience with chronic disease management, preventative care, and elder care
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, including working in multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of healthcare regulatory compliance and Medicare Advantage plans
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and documentation
- Active licensure as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in Iowa
- Board certification and current DEA license required
