What are the responsibilities and job description for the CX Hardware Support Specialist position at TruGolf, Inc.?
TruGolf Holdings Inc., a leading golf software and simulation company located in Centerville, UT, is seeking a full-time CX Hardware Support Specialist. We are looking for an individual who enjoys helping customers and can communicate clearly and effectively. Strong technical support skills are highly desired.
This is a full-time position with dependable, regular hours after the training period.
Standard schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Assist customers with issues related to software, licensing, device setup, and basic PC problems
- Perform software updates, installations, and configurations
- Answer customer questions and provide additional training on software and hardware as needed
- Process and handle replacement parts requests
- Assist with scheduling onsite service requests
- Troubleshoot and support tracking hardware
- Provide detailed and accurate documentation of all support interactions and resolutions
- Support customers with hardware-related issues
- Travel occasionally as needed (light travel possible)
- Work remotely as required or approved
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills; friendly and professional demeanor
- Proficient with PCs and comfortable working in a Windows environment
- Effective team collaborator with strong interpersonal skills
- Dependable, punctual, and a proactive self-starter able to multitask
- Well-organized with strong attention to detail
- Fast and accurate keyboard skills
- Willing to ask questions and seek clarification when needed
- Strong problem-solving abilities with clear documentation skills
- Knowledgeable in computer components and assessment
- Solid understanding of PC hardware and audiovisual (AV) systems
Helpful, but not required:
- Experience with PC Software Games
- Golfing--And if you don't golf, we hope you are not afraid to give it a try.
