Position Overview:

The Team Training Head Coach plays a crucial role in ensuring that we deliver high-quality team training platforms, including TruPower and Combo 6. In this role, you will serve as the team training subject matter expert, preparing and training personal trainers on the execution of these programs, providing education, coaching, skill building, feedback, development, and assessment. You will ensure the clubs have clear and accurate communication and resources regarding these programs. In this role, you will utilize your strengths to deliver an exceptional member experience through one-on-one and small-group training sessions. This position reports directly to the Fitness Manager of the club.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Assist in onboarding and coaching Personal Trainers to deliver an exceptional member experience with TruPower and Combo 6.  
• Create a high-energy, engaging culture of Team Training with effective communication, guidance, and education for the personal training team.
• Deliver and follow the prescribed workout program, in line with the TruFit brand and standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment at all times for our members.
• Monitor member attendance trends and create schedules to maximize engagement.
• Provide the General Manager and Service Reps with knowledge and skills to adequately describe and sell Team Training. 
• Conduct monthly promotional events to drive member and guest participation and engagement in Team Training. 
• Create and publish schedules in the ABC calendar, app, and post schedules in the club.
• Required operational tasks should not exceed 8 hours per week.

Personal Training:

• Models best-in-class member service in 1-1, small group training sessions, and the coaching team.
• Personally model excellence in SGPT (2-6 client group sessions) and mentor teammates to build confidence to create their success by helping more members.
• Conduct monthly meetings with Personal Trainers alongside the Fitness Manager to ensure proper training and communication are being delivered.

Outcomes & Measurements:

• Track attendance monthly to show month-over-month growth.
• Track trainer evaluations and average attendance per event to highlight success.
• Responsible for collecting member success stories to help engage with future member prospects.

Requirements

•  Must have a personal training and CPR certification.
•  Must be available to complete all tasks and sessions at your designated TruFit location.
•  Model best-in-class coaching skills by coaching a minimum of one session per week.
•  Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
•  Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally.
•  Friendly, upbeat, and knowledgeable fitness professionals who can motivate our members and deliver our best-in-class TruPower and Combo6 programs.
•  Can effectively communicate and collaborate with others to drive our TruFit values.
