ABOUT TRUFAMED

TrufaMED is an urgent care and concierge medicine practice in Surfside. We are the only Joint Commission accredited urgent care in Florida. The clinic runs on site X-ray, a CLIA certified lab, and ultrasound, so most answers come back during the visit.

Alongside urgent care we run IV therapy in clinic and mobile, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, wellness and lab testing programs, and a concierge membership practice with house calls. The setting is quiet, private, and designed to feel closer to hospitality than to a walk in clinic. Eight languages are spoken on staff.

THE ROLE

You are the nurse on the floor. You room and assess patients, start and monitor IVs, draw and run labs, give injections and vaccines, assist the physician with procedures, document accurately, and keep the clinical areas and supplies in order.

A typical day includes:

- Patient intake, vitals, and nursing assessment

- IV starts, infusions, and injections for urgent care and IV therapy patients

- Mobile IV visits to patient homes and hotels in the Surfside, Bal Harbour, Miami Beach, Sunny Isles, and Aventura area

- Venipuncture, specimen collection, and in house lab testing

- Wound care, splinting, EKGs, and procedure assist

- Hyperbaric oxygen therapy session support

- Patient education and discharge instructions

- Charting in the EMR, medication and supply tracking, and infection control

- Coordinating with physicians, front desk, and concierge patients

SCHEDULE AND PAY

- Three 12 hour shifts per week, full time

- Weekend availability required

- No overnight shifts. Clinic hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 9pm, Saturday 11am to 11pm, Sunday 12pm to 8pm

- $30.00 per hour during a 90 day probationary period, with a higher rate after probation

- Training and orientation hours are paid at the same rate

REQUIREMENTS

- Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Florida (multistate or Florida single state)

- Three years of RN experience. Urgent care, emergency, or infusion experience preferred

- Current BLS certification

- Confident, independent IV skills, including difficult sticks

- Comfortable traveling to patient homes and hotels for mobile IV visits, with a reliable vehicle and a valid Florida driver license

- Accurate EMR documentation and working knowledge of HIPAA and infection control standards

- Clear communication with physicians, patients, and front desk staff

- Satisfactory background check and license verification

PREFERRED

- BSN

- Urgent care, concierge, or aesthetics and wellness infusion background

- Spanish, Portuguese, Hebrew, Russian, or French

- ACLS or PALS
