Immediate Hire: HR Generalist (Temp-to-Hire) — Sunnyvale, CA (Hybrid)
We’re partnering with a growing, highly innovative tech startup in Sunnyvale that’s building something genuinely exciting. They are looking to bring on an HR Generalist who can step in, take ownership, and help bring structure to a dynamic environment. This role is 3 days onsite per week.
This is a temp-to-hire opportunity, ideal for someone who is comfortable operating without a fully built-out playbook and enjoys being hands-on across multiple areas of HR. You’ll play a key role in strengthening the People Operations function during an important phase of growth.
About the role:
You’ll work closely with a collaborative and engaged leadership team, supporting day-to-day HR operations while helping bring structure and consistency to key processes. This role offers meaningful exposure across the end-to-end employee experience and the opportunity to contribute to how HR evolves within the organization.
Core responsibilities:
- Oversee onboarding and support broader employee experience processes
- Act as a trusted resource for employee questions and day-to-day support
- Keep internal HR materials, policies, and records organized and current
- Support hiring efforts, including interview coordination and candidate communication
- Assist with benefits and payroll workflows and help ensure alignment with applicable regulations
- Partner cross-functionally with leadership, legal, and operations

Ideal qualities:
