The firm is expanding and seeking an experienced Tort and Insurance Defense Attorney to join a highly respected litigation team handling sophisticated tort and insurance defense matters. This role is ideal for a seasoned litigator who values immediate client contact courtroom work and long-term professional stability within a supportive firm environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and analysis related to tort and insurance defense litigation matters
- Draft pleadings discovery requests motions and related litigation documents with accuracy and efficiency
- Represent clients in depositions motion practice court appearances and other tort defense proceedings
- Manage client relationships and multiple assignments independently while collaborating with partners on case strategy development and exceptional client service
Qualifications
- JD from an ABA-approved law school with excellent academic credentials and an active New Jersey Bar license in good standing
- 5 years of tort and insurance defense litigation experience
- Strong organizational communication and time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-volume environment
- Superior written and verbal communication skills with professional judgment problem-solving ability and ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
