Manager, Financial Reporting & Accounting

Compensation: $140,000–$160,000 Bonus eligibility and a strong benefits package.

Based in Irvine, CA, we are a sophisticated investment management and real estate organization known for its client-focused approach collaborative culture and commitment to delivering practical results. The corporate accounting team is expanding and seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join a growing team operating within a technically strong and highly collaborative environment led by ex-Big 4 professionals. This role is ideal for a seasoned Big 4 accounting professional looking to transition into industry who values sophisticated accounting work collaborative teamwork and long-term professional stability within a supportive firm environment.

Responsibilities

• Support corporate accounting operations including month-end close financial reporting and technical accounting initiatives while partnering with leadership on complex accounting projects and process improvements with accuracy and efficiency
• Work within a sophisticated investment management and real estate environment handling accounting matters related to asset management real estate funds and partnership structures
• Collaborate cross-functionally with finance and operational teams on high-level accounting and finance projects while contributing technical expertise and sound professional judgment
• Apply Big 4 technical accounting knowledge across audit advisory or tax functions to support senior leadership with complex accounting initiatives and ongoing operational priorities

Qualifications

• CPA strongly preferred; Big 4 experience at Deloitte PwC EY or KPMG required; currently at Senior Associate Supervisor or Manager level with background in Audit Advisory or Tax
• 4 years of experience with exposure to asset management real estate investment management funds and partnership structures; carried interest experience a plus
• Strong organizational communication and time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-volume environment
• Strong technical accounting analytical and communication skills with the ability to work fully on-site in Irvine CA; 100% on-site position with no hybrid flexibility
