Responsibilities
- Defend clients in general litigation cases including civil and commercial cases from inception through resolution or trial.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and prepare case strategy.
- Conduct depositions, hearings, and legal research while advising clients on risk exposure and potential outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues and mentor junior attorneys to ensure excellence across deliverables.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school; admission to the NJ Bar required.
- 2 years of experience handling general litigation defense.
- Strong knowledge of court procedures, discovery practice, and trial preparation.
- Ability to take a case and run with it on your own.
