We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative who knows the electrical industry and enjoys solving customer problems. You will build trusted customer relationships, prepare accurate quotes, source hard-to-find electrical products, manage orders, and partner with Outside Sales to grow accounts. This role is well suited to someone who is responsive, resourceful, commercially minded, and comfortable managing several priorities at once.
What you’ll do
- Prepare timely, accurate quotes that address the customer’s full request and support gross-profit goals.
- Review quote requests for missing details and recommend alternatives or complementary solutions when appropriate.
- Partner with the Sourcing team on price and availability research, including hard-to-find, obsolete, and non-stock electrical products.
- Maintain a disciplined quote pipeline, schedule follow-up reminders, and use phone and email outreach to win open opportunities.
- Enter complete and accurate sales orders, including purchase-order details, parts, quantities, pricing, billing and shipping information, sourcing notes, and shipping preferences.
- Verify sales and purchase pricing against established gross-profit goals.
- Compare supplier pricing, lead times, and quality to create the best available customer solution.
- Develop a strong understanding of each customer’s business model, priorities, and goals so you can align the right products and services to their needs.
- Travel by car to local offices as needed.
What you bring
- At least 2 years of sales experience.
- At least 3 years of electrical industry experience.
Salary : $75,000 - $150,000
