CDL Hazmat Driver / Laborer

Truesdell Corporation is currently seeking a CDL Hazmat Driver/Laborer to join our Western Region team based out of Colton, CA to assist in performing Bridge Maintenance Projects. This candidate will be able to travel within California and to other states for approximately 2 weeks at a time, be a hard worker, and able to easily adapt to a variety of tasks. Our ideal candidate will enjoy travel, working on bridges, learning new skills, working with our fast-paced team and is excited about the opportunity to advance within our company.

Responsibilities:

• You will be a part of a traveling bridge repair and maintenance crew.
• You will be driving and performing concrete repairs and overlays on bridges.
• You will be driving a company truck and towing equipment.
• You will be working night or day shifts.
• Every project has different requirements, a typical shift is 8-9 hours.
• You will be required to follow all safety practices and conduct yourself professionally at all times.
• You will be loading and unloading equipment when not driving and working.
• You will be operating hand saws and other power tools. (Training will be provided.)

Requirements:

• Must have construction experience.
• Must have a valid Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
• Must have two years of driving experience
• Must have 3 years of and clean driving record, no DUI’s.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment DOT drug screen and physical.
• Must be able to perform physical labor and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to travel full-time out of state.
• Ability to work variable shifts, nights and weekends when necessary.

Compensation and Benefits Package:

• The pay range is $38.00 to $47.00 per hour, depending on experience.
