About the Role
TruePT Physical Therapy and Wellness in West Erie is seeking a full-time or part-time (25 hours) Physical Therapy Technician/Aide to join our energetic and growing team! This role is perfect for someone who enjoys helping others, has an interest in health and fitness, and thrives in a team-oriented environment. You’ll play a vital role in supporting our physical therapists and ensuring every patient receives the highest level of care and attention.
Responsibilities
- Assist physical therapists in delivering high-quality patient care
- Prepare and maintain treatment areas and equipment
- Guide and assist patients through prescribed exercises under therapist supervision
- Monitor and report patient responses to treatment
- Support patient flow by escorting patients to and from treatment areas
- Perform administrative duties such as scheduling, filing, and maintaining supplies
- Help ensure a clean, safe, and organized clinic environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Prior experience in a healthcare, rehabilitation, or fitness setting (preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
- Passion for helping others improve mobility, strength, and quality of life
