Responsibilities include:
- Provide consultation to elementary, middle and high school SAP teams.
- Attend regular meetings.
- Conduct mental health and substance use assessments, and make referrals to appropriate services.
- Provide supportive mental health counseling, including Substance Use Disorder education.
- Run school-based support and education groups.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a human service field.
- Some experience/knowledge of substance abuse is preferred.
- The position requires three clearances and a training certificate: Pennsylvania ChildLine Clearance, PA State Police Clearance, FBI Fingerprint Check and Mandated Reporting training.
