Box Truck Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, adherence to traffic regulations, and the ability to manage various driving tasks, including loading and unloading cargo. Keep in mind that this is a 1099 position.

Duties

• Operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles for route driving, ensuring timely deliveries. 26ft
• Load and unload goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling techniques.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any client inquiries or concerns.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety compliance.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role involving route driving.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Experience in warehouse operations is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving of goods as required.
• Familiarity with operating forklifts and pallet jacks is advantageous.
• Proficient in driving manual transmission vehicles is a plus. FOR DRIVER(s) MUST HAVE VALID MED CARD. CDL IS A PLUS, NOT REQUIRED FOR HELPER.
